Celebrating Pongal with Joy at Tiny Buds, Mecheri

🪁 Highlights of the Tiny Buds Pongal Celebration
1. Traditional Dress Parade
Children dressed up in beautiful traditional attire — boys in veshti and shirts, girls in pattu pavadai. They looked adorable and truly brought the spirit of Pongal to life!
2. Pongal Pot Preparation (Symbolic)
Children observed the symbolic Pongal pot ceremony, where sweet pongal was prepared as a festive treat. We explained the meaning of “Thai Pongal” and how it marks the beginning of new hopes.
3. Cultural Dance & Songs
Our little stars performed traditional songs and a cute folk dance, celebrating nature, farmers, and community. Parents were overwhelmed with joy and pride.
5. Fun Traditional Games
Kids played traditional games like:
- Uriyadi (hitting the pot)
- Musical circles with folk music
These fun moments helped develop teamwork and physical coordination.
